Nestled in the mountains outside of San Diego, Madre Grande Monastery is a sustainable community dedicated to sustainability and peace. Prior to reaching the location, there is a 2.4 mile stretch of unpaved, mountain road. Please be prepared for this drive and allow time to take it slow.
