Join Edible San Diego, Sand n' Straw Farm and Santosha Nutrition for a fun online workshop all about winter produce in Southern California.

Whether you subscribe to a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Box, shop at a farmers' market, grow a garden, or get greens at the grocery store, winter in San Diego offers delicious, and in some cases, lesser known vegetables and fruits that give us our own San Diego version of winter.
Join this interactive workshop to learn shopping, storing, cooking, and food waste reduction tips. April Viles, co-owner of Sand n’ Straw Farm , and Liz Murphy, Santosha Nutrition , will join Katie Stokes, publisher of Edible San Diego for a virtual exploration of local, seasonal produce.
All ticket sales for this event will be donated to Oceanside Kitchen Collaborative, whose mission is to rescue food to nourish and educate our community...to keep healthy food on people’s plates and out of landfills
